Strawberry Cake

1 Duncan Hines Strawberry Cake Mix
1/2 cup applesauce
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 small tub frozen strawberries with sugar
1 container Cool Whip
 
Mix and bake cake as directed using 1/4 cup less water, substituting applesauce.
Poke holes in cake and pour on 1/2 tub of strawberries and juice spreading over cake.  Use fork to press strawberries lightly into cake.  Mix pudding and remaining strawberries in bowl.  Fold in Cool Whip.  Use pudding/Cool Whip mixture to frost cake.  Refrigerate until serving.  Leftover cake should also be refrigerated.

Cream Cheese Logs

2 8 oz. blocks cream cheese (softened)
1 jar of dried beef (rinse and cut in small pieces)
4-6 green onions (chopped with white and green part)

Mix all together and roll into two log shapes
Roll logs in dried parsley and serve with crackers


Southern Caviar

2 cans - black eyed peas - drained
1 can - corn - drained
1 can - rotel
1/2 cup - chopped purple onion
2 cups - chopped bell pepper - any color
1/2 jalapeno chopped
8 oz. wishbone Italian dressing

Mix and chill overnight
Serve with Frito Scoop Chips and oh my Awesome!!
